DoodhPheri (दूधफेरी) is built with an offline-first architecture. Your business records—including customer addresses, milk collection FAT/SNF records, farmer passbooks, and cashbook expenses—are stored locally on your device's internal storage. Approved cloud pilot accounts are a separate online service and use hosted authentication and storage as described below.
1. Information We Collect and Where It Resides
Depending on whether you use the mobile application, the public website, or the interactive demo portal, data is handled as follows:
When you use the DoodhPheri mobile app, your operational records (farmer lists, customer directories, milk intake entries, rate charts, delivery rounds, and expense vouchers) are written to a private SQLite database inside your phone's application sandbox. Exports, shared statements, and any cloud pilot features you choose to use can transfer information outside the device.
Public product previews show fictional records. Where a separate demo workspace is enabled, its sample transactions are stored in browser local storage and can be reset. Do not enter real customer or farmer records in a demo. Approved pilot sign-in uses Supabase authentication; account information and any enabled cloud records are handled by that hosted service.
The contact form prepares an email draft in your browser. It does not submit your details to our website server. When you open the draft in your email app, your email provider handles it. When you send it, we receive your name, mobile number, business details, and message in our support inbox to respond to your inquiry.
2. Offline Records and Cloud Pilot Access
Automatic mobile-to-web synchronization is not enabled in this release. Offline app records and approved cloud pilot records are separate. Signing in to a cloud pilot account sends authentication requests to Supabase and stores session information in your browser. Enabled portal features may read records associated with your account.
Use a trusted device for pilot access and sign out when finished on a shared computer. Contact support to ask what cloud features are enabled for your pilot.
3. Custodianship of Backup Files
The mobile application allows operators to generate manual backup files (.dspbackup). These files contain complete snapshots of your dairy ledger.
4. Third-Party Analytics and Telemetry
The public website does not currently include third-party advertising or analytics scripts. Your hosting and email providers may process technical information needed to deliver their services. We do not sell user profiles, farmer names, or delivery addresses to lenders, commodity traders, or advertising networks.
5. Data Retention and Deletion
Local records can be managed on your device. For information sent to our support inbox or held in a cloud pilot account, contact support to request access, correction, or deletion. Some records may need to be retained for operational or legal obligations.
- You may delete individual customer or product entries within the app (financial history is preserved via compensating reversals to maintain bookkeeping integrity).
- Uninstalling the mobile app or clearing application data will remove the local database from that device.
- Demo portal browser data can be instantly wiped at any time using the “Reset Demo Workspace” button in Portal Settings.
